Team Bio: Alex Macfarlane

Alex Macfarlane is Team Captain and Chief Agitator of Big In Japan. His prior experience includes organizing a team of misfits to run in The 2904, where he finished in Second Place after suffering an alternator failure at 6am in Lincoln, Nebraska. Alex looks forward to even more catastrophic parts failures (I heard the starter in the 1UZ-FE changes pretty easily...) and restless nights at the 2010 Rod Blagojevich Never-Say-Die 500.

This lunatic was born in the British Virgin Islands, where they drive AND steer on the left hand side, and where road resurfacing was a euphemism for the landslides that would block all the roads twice a year. He now resides in St. Louis, where he keeps a small stable of iron, including a 1967 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia, a 2006 Triumph Speed Triple, and his 1996 Ford Crown Victoria P71, still decked out in its 2904 regalia.
